Janet Mae Sexton

Janet Mae Sexton, 62, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 9th, 2026, with her husband by her side.

Janet loved spending time with her children, grandchild, and her great-grand children.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Brown; her brothers, Roy Lee and Randle Lee; and her sisters, Janie Brown and Margie Shirley.

Janet is survived by her husband, Eddie Sexton; her daughters, Margie MacMurray and husband, Charles MacMurray, & Tonya Sumner, and husband, Chris Sumner; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Kilgore; her two great-grandchildren, Malachi and Jaxon; her sister, Wanda Greaney; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at this time.
