Jason Lee Wethington

Jason Lee "Googley" Wethington, 39, of Big Stone Gap, VA, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023.
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Jason lived in southwest Virginia for twelve years. A loving husband and father, he never met a stranger and worked to make others happy. Googley was passionate about producing Youtube videos and posts on Tiktok. He had a great sense of humor and was known as a prankster. He was also an avid hot wheel collector. Jason was well-known in the Big Stone Gap community for his many roles in customer service. The community will miss him.
Jason's memory will be treasured by his devoted wife, Jennie Wethington; his children, Jason Lee "JJ" Wethington, II, James "Alex" Wethington, Jennabell Lynn Thacker, Kaedn Jim Thacker; father-in law, Greg Fultz; mother-in-law Tammy Reams; best friends, Sloan and Ashley; god-childlren, Noah and Isaac; beloved pets, Blu, Ophelia "Cupcake," Ash, Laro, Ru, Nuggie.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
