Jay Timothy Hickey

Jay Timothy Hickey, 63, of Mount Carmel, TN, gained his angel wings on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

He was born on September 26, 1962, to the late J.N. and Ruth Hickey. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his nephews, Joshua Britton Fann and Robert Lee Fann.

Jay was very kind and selfless, making friends with anyone he met. He loved nature, being outdoors, and animals. Family was very important to Jay. He believed in the Cherokee ways.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sisters, Georgia Mumpower and Katherine Seabolt; brothers in-law, Mike Mumpower and James Seabolt; special cousin, Delores Brown; special friends, Eddie and Nancy Seabolt, and Ashley Taylor; nephews, Grayson Fann, Darren Fann, and Thomas Fann; and niece, Lexi Fann.

He will be missed but never forgotten because his kindness will shine in every flower that blossoms, and every time the sun rises we'll remember him.
