Jean Ward

Jean Ward, 85, of Rogersville, passed away at her home on Friday, November 10, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 and a half years, Archie Ward; great granddaughter Carter Stanley; parents Lon and Georgia Kate Crawford; brothers Richard and Brad Crawford; sister Loretta Huffman; nephew Randall Crawford; niece Lisa West; brother-in-law John Forester; sister-in-law Joan Crawford; and infant sisters Eva Mae and Joan.

She is survived by her loving children, son Terry "Lurch" Ward, daughter and son-in-law Sharon Fletcher and husband Randy; grandchildren Michelle Stanley and husband Brad, and Tony Shelton II; great grandchildren Paisley and Sutton Stanley. She is also survived by her close and loving family, sister Helen Forester, brothers James, Jerry, and Robert Crawford, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean leaves behind a host of special friends with whom she talked to daily.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 15th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, at Trinity Memorial Centers, Kingsport. A brief service, led by Brother Dan Dolen, will follow. Music will be provided by Brad Stanley.

Burial will follow in Morrison Cemetery, Rogersville, with family members serving as pallbearers.
