Jeanette Kay Ervin

Jeanette Kay Ervin, 61, of Gate City, VA, passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center on Saturday, October 8, 2022.

Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Paul and Sue Deheart, Jeanette spent most of her life in Northeast Tennessee/SW Virginia, where she met and married the love of her life, Steve Ervin. The couple was happily married for thirty-four years. Jeanette also has a son, Jeremy Brown. Jeanette was an outdoors woman who loved camping, fishing, and gardening.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Sue Dehart.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Ervin; son, Jeremy Brown; step-sons, Todd Ervin, Michael Ervin (Sarabeth); grandchildren, Laura Brown, Zoe Ann Ervin, Bryson Ervin, Briana Ervin; mother-in-law, Reba Robinson; brother-in-law, Jeff Ervin; sister, Paula Dehart; brothers, Nicky Dehart, Jason Dehart; nephews, Daniel Dehart, Alexander Dehart; many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held to honor Jeanette’s life from 4:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tennessee.
