Jimmy Lynn Hill

Jimmy Lynn Hill, 34, of Elizabethton, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2026.

Jimmy was a 2010 graduate of Happy Valley High School and an only child who was deeply loved by his parents. He attended East Side Freewill Baptist Church in Elizabethton, where he was grounded in his faith and cherished the fellowship of his church family.

Jimmy was a true people person, easy to love and never meeting a stranger. He was talkative and open, always willing to share what was on his mind and brighten someone's day with conversation. He cherished his time spent with family and friends, and those moments meant the most to him.

He found joy in the simple things in life. Whether it was going out riding, mowing and weed-eating, or just being outdoors, Jimmy was happiest when he was busy and in the fresh air. He loved working with his hands, taking on odd jobs, tinkering, and fixing things. He especially enjoyed working on watches, and fixing up knives, always finding satisfaction in bringing something back to life. His faithful cat, Kelly, was a constant companion by his side.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willing and Lucy Guine, and Andy and Irene Hill.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Carrie Hill; his father, Jimmy Dean Hill; his special friend, Samara; along with many dear friends and his church family who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
