Julie Rebekah Anderson

Julie Rebekah Anderson (McNew), 53, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 12, 2025.

She was born on March 27th, 1972 in Gastonia, North Carolina. Her childhood years were mainly spent in Kingsport, Tennessee. In the year 2000, she graduated from Northeast State Community College and worked for the Social Security Administration as a paralegal for 27 years.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby W. McNew.

Those left to cherish Julie's memory are her mother, Doris McNew; her brother, Jeremy McNew; her daughter, Megan Begley; her 4 grandsons, Matthew Begley, Jackson Curry, and two others with a happy family; as well as several close family members and many close friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm-7:00pm Friday, May 23, 2025 at Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 108 Colonial Heights Rd., Kingsport, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Greg Burton at 7:00pm.
