Karen Jane Whetsel

Karen Jane (Kacey) Whetsel, 77, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

Kacey left this world a better place. Her compassion and tenacity was passed on. She was a beautician for 60 years, the last 31 at Hair 10 in Kingsport where she has many friends and memories.

She will reunite with her parents, Erle and Stella Cotton; sister, Lynn Taylor; and husband, Bill Whetsel.

Left to cherish her memories are sons, Rick Whetsel and wife Ginger, and John Whetsel; grandchildren, Jama, and Luke and wife Kreistyn; great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Daxton, and Wesson; brother-in-law, Jim; niece, Carrie and husband Chris and their children, Hannah and Ellie; nephew, Jimmy, and his children, Cole and Lauren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bridge No Kill Animal Shelter.
