Kathy Salyer Goode

Kathy Louise Salyer Goode, 72, went to be with the Lord on December 6, 2025, at Holston Rehab and Care Center.

Kathy was a 1971 graduated from Church Hill High School. She was a well-loved, joyful waitress at Mountaineer Restaurant in Church Hill.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Goode; her mother, Edna Salyer Roseberry; her sibling, Glenna Warner; and her special nephew, Chad Salyer.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Victoria Ellen Goode; brother, Ronnie Salyer of Church Hill; and sister, Brenda Salyer Painter of Alabama; four grandchildren: Hayden James Bailey, Koltin Painter, Gunnar Kiser, and Laken Faith Bennett; nieces and nephew: Sonja Warner Bennett, Michelle Painter Johnson, Brian Painter, Jessica Walden, and Morgan Allen; and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial will be planned at a later date.
