Kayla Marie Brinegar

Kayla Marie Brinegar, 40, of Gate City, VA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Kayla had a passion for drawing and expressed her creativity through art that touched the hearts of those around her. Nature brought her peace, and she often found joy in hiking. Above all, Kayla cherished her children and found her greatest happiness in spending time with them, playing, laughing, and creating lasting memories.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Carl T. Brinegar, and her dear sister, Bobbie Jean Robinson.

Those left to cherish Kayla's memory are her children, Bobbie Ashlyn, Gage, Daniel, Anna, and Allison; her mother and stepfather, Patricia & Rick Quillen; her siblings, Julie Smith & husband, Matthew Smith, Connie Hefflin, Robert Brinegar & wife, Suzanne, Rita Woolery & husband, Greg, and Mathew Brinegar; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
