Kenneth Allen Scott, 65, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born in Saint Charles, Virginia, Kenneth was a 1977 graduate of Pennington High School, where he excelled in sports, especially football-his lifelong favorite. After moving to Kingsport, he met his soulmate and neighbor, Beverly, through a mutual friend. From that day forward, their story was one of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership.

A devoted husband, proud father, and doting grandfather, Kenneth found his greatest joy in his family. He cherished time with his grandchildren and always had a house full of dogs-his love for animals was well known. A true sports fan, he faithfully rooted for Notre Dame and cheered on the Atlanta Falcons.

Over the years, Kenneth worked for several companies in the region, including Mack Tools and Anderson News Company, building lasting friendships wherever he went.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Vera Scott, and his brother, Donnie Scott.

Left to treasure his memory are his beloved wife of 31 years, Beverly Scott; his son, Brock Scott and wife Annie; stepdaughter, Ashley Minnick; grandchildren, Lucas, Winslow, and Jean; and sisters, Becky Hale and Fay Mays.

Per Kenneth's wishes, services will be private.
