Larry Dale Ramsey

Larry Dale Ramsey, 73, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.

Larry was born on November 11, 1952, in Norton, Virginia, and spent his younger years in Coeburn, Virginia. He later made his home in Bristol, Tennessee, where he lived throughout his adult life. He worked as an electrician and carpenter and took pride in his craftsmanship. In his free time, he enjoyed playing the guitar, a passion that brought him comfort and enjoyment throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emitte Ramsey and Della Ramsey; his sister, Carol Phillips; his brother, Edward Ramsey; and his grandson, Weston Ramsey.

He is survived by his sons, Brian Ramsey (wife Christy) and Casey Ramsey (wife Jolee); his grandchildren, Desiree White, Brayden Ramsey, Maddy Ramsey, and Jayden Ramsey; his sister, Sharon Castle; and his brothers, Bruce Ramsey and Scott Ramsey.

No formal services will be held. Immediate family will gather privately at a later date to remember and honor his life.
