Larry Lee Williams went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 30th, 2026. He was born September 4th, 1960, in Salina, Kansas to the late Kelly Jackson Williams and Audrey Ferguson Williams.
He was a graduate of Chilhowie High School and the Police Academy in Lebanon, Virginia. He worked as a police officer and as a disc jockey for radio stations which included WOLD in Marion, Virginia, WXBQ in Bristol, Virginia, and WQUT in the Tri-Cities. He most recently served as a security guard until his health declined.
He was a member of the Army National Guard for six years, and received a Combat Vehicle Transition Training Team Certificate while stationed in Boise, Idaho.
Larry was saved at a young age, and attended several area Baptist churches while his health permitted. He often assisted with the sound systems when he was able. Even as his health declined, he always spoke about the Lord to whomever he met.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Garry Williams.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Emily V. Williams; and his brothers, Kelly "Jack" Williams and Philip Williams.
Interment will be at the VA Mountain Home National Cemetery in Mountain Home, TN on Friday, September 4th, 2026 at 11:00 A.M.
