Lewis Stuart Blevins Sr.

Lewis "Lou" Stuart Blevins Sr., 88, of Fall Branch, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

One of eleven children, Lou was the sixth born and known for his quiet, steady nature. He grew up working on his family's dairy farms in Maryland and Pennsylvania, learning the value of hard work early in life.

Lou later became a skilled pipefitter, working at construction sites, coal mines, and water treatment plants throughout his career. He enjoyed gardening, bowling in local leagues, and racing cars. A natural problem-solver, Lou could fix or build just about anything and was always willing to share his knowledge to help others with their DIY projects, while also working on his own DIY projects around his home. Lou was also mechanically-inclined, and enjoyed working on automobiles. He had a deep affinity for animals, especially his numerous cats. He was a generous and compassionate man who deeply cared for the homeless and less fortunate, leaving a legacy of kindness and service to others.

Lou is preceded in death by his parents, Aris & Sylvia Blevins; and his siblings, Alice, Eddie, Mike, Buddy, Richard, and David.

Those left to cherish Lou's memory are his loving wife of 65 years, Tina; his children, Dr. Lewis Blevins Jr., Terry Blevins (Necita), and Pandy Elkins; his grandchildren, Jacob Elkins, Madison Phipps, Emily Blevins, Kimberly Blevins, Christalyn Macales, and Samantha Blevins; his siblings, Philip Blevins, Brenda Richardson, Sally Boats, and Tom Blevins; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no formal services at this time.
