Linda Lou Householder

Linda Lou Householder, 84, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026. Born on December 4, 1941, Linda lived a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to her family. She especially cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her so much joy. She also loved her church family, reading, and gardening, and found happiness in life's simple and meaningful blessings.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Opie Mullins; her mother, Edith Mullenix Mullins; her brother, Wendell Mullins; and her grandsons, Joshua Light and Jonathon Light.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Rena Mullins; her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Susan Light; her daughter and son-in-law, Angie and David Calloway; her grandchildren, Jacob and Kristen Light, Julia and Joe Laney, Joseph Light, Olivia and Matt Larkins, and Indiana and Nina Calloway; her great-grandchildren, Lucas Light, Annabeth Light, Joanna Laney, and Jameson Laney; her nephew and family, Rusty, Amy, James, and Roxie Mullins; and her dear and special friend, Jean Bates.

Linda will be remembered for her loving heart, gentle spirit, and the kindness she shared with everyone around her. Her memory will be cherished always by those who knew and loved her.

We warmly invite you to join us in honoring Linda Householder at a celebration of life service at Calloway Farm Barn on July 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This will be a time for Linda's friends and family to come together in love and remembrance, to share treasured memories, and to celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the many hearts she touched.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Linda.
