Lindora Agnes Ridings

Lindora Agnes Ridings, age 88, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and love touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lindora was preceded in death by her cherished son, James Ridings. She is survived by her five devoted children: Donna Barger, George (Debbie) Ridings, Debbie Ridings, John (Louann) Ridings, and Darlene Robertson. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.

A woman of many talents, Lindora was especially known for her love of cooking. Her home was a gathering place where family and friends could always expect a delicious meal, often accompanied by a sweet treat that she had lovingly prepared. Her kitchen was a haven of warmth and laughter, where stories were shared and memories were made.

Lindora's greatest joy came from her family, particularly her great-grandchildren, whom she adored and often spoke of with a twinkle in her eye. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating bonds that will last for generations.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her main caregiver, daughter Donna Barger, for her unwavering support and love during Lindora's later years.
