Luke Frazier Greene, 22, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
Luke Frazier Greene was born in Kingsport, Tennessee. Luke brought joy and laughter to those around him, and he will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the simple things that made him happy.
Luke attended South High School and was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church, where he played the saxophone for a short time in the church orchestra. Music was just one of the many ways Luke expressed himself and connected with those around him.
Luke loved anything with an engine. Motorcycles, boats, and loud machines always caught his attention- the louder the better. Some of his most treasured moments were spent with his papaw, a bond that meant the world to him. He also loved cooking for his dad and papaw, something that brought him great joy.
He shared a special companionship with his four-legged buddy, Duke, and cherished his teddy bear, "Chocobear," which was given to him by his Godfather, Tim Cabell. These small but meaningful parts of his life showed his tender heart and the love he had for those close to him. Luke will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Luke was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Greene; his great-grandmother, Jerrie "TuTu" Frazier; and his uncle, Todd Greene.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Mark Greene (Cindy); his mother, Heather Meyers; his papaw, Eddie Greene; his grandmother, Pamela Meyers; his grandfather, Albert "Pedro" Meyers, Jr.; his aunts, Vangie and Kathy; his uncle, Brent; his brothers, Anthony, Brett, and Jeremy; his cousins, Zach, Shelby, Drew, and Natalie; his special friend in Alaska, Lacey Compton; his Godparents, Tim and Carolyn Cabell; and his second family, Terry, Becky, and TaylorAnn.
Luke's family would like to thank their family and friends for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. They would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Trinity Memorial Center for the care and compassion shown to Luke and their family.
