Listen to Obituary

Marc Lucien Croteau, 57, of Greeneville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. He was at home with the love of his life by his side, holding his hand and showering him with love always.

Marc and LeAnne had the fairytale marriage. Both waited a lifetime to find the love they shared for each other. Never a harsh word was spoken, only an unconditional forever-love for each other. He always referred to her as My Sweet Angel.

He grew up in Berlin, NH. Marc earned an accounting degree but chose the open roads. He was a truck driver for 34 years. Marc shared a Love of coins with his dad and enjoyed teaching others all the interesting history of coins. He loved living on the mountain top, working in the yard and on the farmhouse, and rocking on the front porch while enjoying a good cup of coffee.

Marc is survived by his wife LeAnne Davis Croteau of Greeneville, TN; his daughter, Kathleen Croteau and fiancee, Ryker of Michigan; his sons, Kevin Croteau of Florida, and Cameron Morin and wife, Amelie of Canada; his sister, Sue-Lynn Croteau of New Hampshire; his brother-in-law, Jeff Davis of Chucky, TN; special friends, Michael Manfra of Massachusetts, and DeLynne Behringer of Knoxville, TN - both of whom were like a brother and a sister; God-children, Jeffrey Shane Davis and J. Hunter Lane; as well as numerous coin friends from all over that frequently checked in on him.

Marc is predeceased by his parents, Lucien and Jeanne Croteau; and a brother, Joseph.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Smoky Mountain Hospice of Greeneville (Allie Long, Stephanie Smith, Karen Brinson, and Pastor Steve) and Smoky Mountain Hospice of Kingsport (the entire crew) for the love and the continued support of Marc and LeAnne during his sickness. Thank you Dr. Clark with Smoky Mountain Hospice, Dr. Tumkur and FNP Kelly Hyder of Tennessee Cancer Specialists, and FNP Erin Stayton and Mary Douthat (Greg) of Summit Medical for always making sure we had everything we needed.

A Celebration of Life will be held in New Hampshire sometime during the spring to honor Marc, as well as his dad, Lucien.

Trinity Memorial Center Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family. Online condolences can be shared with the family on our website at www.trinitymemorialcenters.com <http://www.trinitymemorialcenters.com/>.
