Maria Elena Cruz Jimenez

Maria Elena Cruz Jimenez, age 73 of Kingsport, TN, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on 5/19/2026. She was born on March 5th, 1954 in Mexico City, Mexico to Sabino Cruz Juarez and Maria Ofelia Jimenez.

A devoted woman of faith, Maria Elena lived her life as a true reflection of Proverbs 31. Her strength, grace, and unwavering trust in God were the cornerstones of her life. She was a longtime and active member of several Christian churches, where she joyfully served and touched countless lives through her prayer and hospitality.

She is preceded in death by her father, Sabino Cruz Juarez and grandson, Bryan Reyes.

Most of all Maria Elena was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She leaves behind a rich, spiritual legacy for her 3 children: Oscar Reyes, Diego Reyes, and Victor Reyes. She was affectionately known as Nana to her 10 cherished grandchildren. She prayed for her family daily and installed in them a deep love for God and others. She is also survived by her 9 brothers, 5 sisters, and 9 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life to honor Maria will be held on 6/1/26 at 3 P.M. at Trinity Memorial Centers in Kingsport, TN.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness."

We thank God for the gift of her life and the beautiful spiritual legacy she leaves behind. Until we meet again at Heaven's gate, rest peacefully in the arms of our Savior.
