Marty Allen Smith went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 17, 2026, after a brief illness and with his loving wife, Kristy and sons, Alex and Wes by his side.
Marty was born to Judy Charles and the late Lawrence "Bud" Smith. He was a proud combat veteran of Desert Storm. He loved being in the Army and all that it stood for. He truly considered those he served with his brothers. Marty was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 9 years and 3 months. He also loved his mom and sons with all of his heart. Marty loved being outdoors. He enjoyed going to the lake, camping, fishing and taking his dog Piper for long walks. He loved history and always said had he not gotten hurt over seas he would have liked to be a History Teacher. He loved watching war movies on tv. He was also a huge WWE fan and watched it faithfully every week, along with the shows Yellowstone and Survivor. If Marty was your friend, you had a friend for life. He was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet, and he never met a stranger.
