Melissa Deonne Barker

Melissa Deonne (Norris) Barker, 59, went peacefully on August 23, 2019. She was born on July 19, 1960 in Kingsport, but resided in Church Hill, TN. She was a loving friend, mother and wife and she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her mother, Eunice Peters Norris; father, John Garner Norris; and infant son, William Ronald Barker. She is survived by her husband and companion of 30 years, Richard Deas; sons, Joshua Barker and wife, Cayla, and Ronald Barker (Delaware); daughter, Lorie Norris; sister, Rena Norris; brothers, Darren Norris and Nancy, Mike Norris and wife, Cissie, and Aaron Norris and wife, Vicki; grandchildren, Carley, Colton, Jocelyn, Chloe, Brandon, Sidney, Hailey, Ron and Bryson; and an aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 5:30 PM at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, TN).
