Mercedes Nacole Rutheford, 27, of Kingsport, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 after complications following a surgery. Mercedes was born in Kingsport, TN. She was a 2009 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Tim and Rebecca Rutheford; Fiancee, Gina Bailey; brothers, Justin Stone, Timothy Rutheford; Grandfather, James Phillips; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Mercedes' life was held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2020. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Rutheford family.
