Michael Wayne Lucas

Michael Wayne Lucas, Sr., went to his heavenly home on April 18, 2026, where the love of his life, Wanda, was waiting to welcome him.

Mike was a humble man who never met a stranger. His warm personality and natural sense of humor brought joy to everyone around him. There was truly never a dull moment when Mike was near. He had a way of making people feel at ease, turning ordinary days into something special. Among those who will miss him most is his faithful companion, his dog, Shell Bell.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Wanda Lucas; his mother, Helen Clark Lucas; his father, Charles Lucas; and his brother, Chucky Lucas.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Lucas Jr.; his daughter, Samantha Roller (Brent); his grandchildren, Ethan (Tara), Miranda (Blake), Savannah (Ben), Dominick, Sabastian, Gabriel, and Shelby Grace; and his great-grandchildren, Connor, Leah, Grayson, Adalyn, Paisley, and Korbin, who is expected soon. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Carrie Teague, whom he lovingly called "Mom"; his two stepdaughters, Pattie and Dianah; and many family members and friends.

A tribute to honor and celebrate the lives of Mike and Wanda will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Trinity Memorial Centers. Family and friends are invited to attend and share with food to follow.
