Nora Belle Bales

Nora Belle Bales, age 76, of Jonesville, Virginia went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 17, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Prestonsburg, KY and attended a Pentecostal church growing up. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles and bird watching. She loved the Lord and was truly a sweet and loving mother and grandmother. Her smile would light up a room and her stories timeless. She is preceded in death by her husband and together they lived an adventurous life. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, whom she was living with for the last 2 years, and their 7 children; along with 2 grown children, a grandson in law, a beautiful great granddaughter and a future daughter in law. She is survived by 3 other daughters, four grandchildren, and a great grandchild. There will be a private ceremony at Veterans Memorial in Williamstown, KY with the details to be announced at a later date.
