Patricia Joyce Ferguson

Patricia Joyce Ferguson, 80, of Kingsport, went to be with our Lord on Saturday April 26, 2025.

Patricia was born in the small town of New York City. At the age of 14 she left New York for other destinations and before settling in Tennessee was able to see all but 9 of the states in the US. To say her life was full of adventure would be an understatement. She lived, loved, and laughed, and occasionally grumped through it all. She eventually made it to Tennessee. She met plenty of people on her journeys but the people of East TN always made an impression and gave her a place she could call home. During her time here, she saved lives with the Red Cross, volunteered as a nurse at Indian Springs Elementary, cleaned at the Eastman Chemical Plant, helped friends and family to organize their homes, crafted dozens of blankets for friends and family, and served hundreds of home cooked Italian meals to those she loved. She passed away peacefully at Johnson City Medical Center with her son by her side.

She was preceded in death by her sister Dotty and is survived by her brothers: Bobby, Dennis, Marshall, and Chris Corulla, two sisters: Gina and Debbie, her daughter: Terry, Alyson, and Tammy, her sons: Joe, Timmy, and Cecil/CJ, and her many grandchildren and several others who considered her like a mother.

Service Times will be Friday May 16th at 1:00 pm at St. Dominic's Catholic Church for the Catholic Mass. and Visitation and Memorial will be held Saturday May 17th from 12 - 3 with Memorial Service 3-4 at Trinity Memorial Centers.

A dinner at Guiseppe's Italian Restaurant will take place after the memorial service.
