Patricia Lou Grubb

Patricia Lou Grubb, 75 of Bristol TN, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was born on July 4th 1950 in Kingsport, TN to the late Russell and Clevia Marrs of Scott County, VA.

Patricia "Patty" was a loving mother, nana, and aunt. In addition to her parents, she was proceded in death by her loving husband Homer Grubb, infant grandson Caleb Joshua Nunn, sister Elizabeth "Libby" Harper and sister-in-law Jeanette Vanover.

Patty married her love on March 31st 1972 and reunited with him on their 54th wedding aniversary.

Patty was a graduate of Gate City High School in Gate City, VA. She worked many years as a quality inspector at Sperry Univac, and spent many years caring for her husband before his passing. Patty was of the Baptist faith. She loved a good yard sale and thrift store shopping with her girls.

Surviors include her son, Eddie Grubb (Julie) of Bristol, TN; daughter, Angela Nunn (Brad) of Piney Flats, TN; granddaughters, Raina Travis (Brennan) Blountville, TN; and Riley Nunn of Piney Flats, TN; brother-in-laws, Stanley Harper of Bolivia, NC; Sammy Grubb of Bluff City, TN; nieces, Leslie Harper of Wilmington, NC; Tracy Harper of Denver, CO; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and her little dog Brownie and cats Tater, Chloe and Baby.

Her wishes to be cremated with no service are being honored by her family.
