Patricia Gail Leonard

Patricia Gail Leonard, 73, of Church Hill, TN, passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Author and Eliza Johnson; maternal grandparents, J.W. and Tommie Isley; her parents, H.T. and Meredith Johnson; her son, Christopher Todd Christian; and her husband, Alex Leonard.

Gail is survived by her sister, Kay (Pete) Gibson; her sister, Cecilia (Jason) Bowen; her son, Randall Scott Christian; stepsons, Nelson Leonard and Jason Leonard; her grandson, Chris Christian; and her granddaughters, Jordan Christian and Abby Christian. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog, Punk, who brought her much joy.

Gail wished to express heartfelt thanks to her daughter-in-law, Tammie Leonard, and Carol Epperson for all the help, care, and kindness they provided to her and her husband. She also gave special thanks to Amedysis for their compassionate services.

Gail also shared a close bond with her best friend, Travis, whom she loved dearly and who taught her so much about politics.

She treasured her longtime friendships on Facebook, and valued the many connections she made over the years, most of whom she had never met before. Gail believed deeply in shared values, kindness, and compassion, not the selfish, greedy, and hateful beliefs of the scary times today. She hoped future generations would grow up remembering and loving one another.

To honor Gail's wishes, no formal funeral services will be held.
