Patricia Ann Seagroves

April 25, 1947 - October 8, 2025

Pat went to be with the Lord October 8th, 2025 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. She lived 78 years, 5 months, and 13 days. A celebration of her life and legacy will be held at Kingsport First Assembly of God Church on Saturday, October 25 at 11:00 AM.

She was born on April 25, 1947 in Oak Park, Illinois. She grew up and attended school in Elmhurst, Illinois. Pat loved the Lord and as a young girl started playing the organ at church.

While still in high school she met and married the love of her life. She was married 62 years, 3 months, and 13 days. Pat finished high school by getting her GED, got her Beauticians license, and attended two semesters at Evangel College. She used her license to help pay her husband's way through college.

Pat was a very loving and personable individual who always held others above herself. She led several people, children and adults to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and was present and comforting several people at the time of their death.

She loved to travel and was able to enjoy several cruises and travel to Europe, Hawaii, and Mexico.

Pat is preceded in Death by her Father, Samuel DeVries of Holland, Mother, Maurine DeVries and six unborn brothers and sisters. She was a miracle baby.

Pat is survived by her loving husband, Larry Seagroves, Daughter, Sheri Chastain, Son-in-Law David Chastain, and Son Gary Seagroves, Daughter-in-Law Jen Seagroves, four grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
