A limb has fallen from our family tree.

Patsy Ann (Dolen) Davis, 91. departed her earthly bounds and joined the Angels in Heaven on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness, with her children by her side.

Patsy had been a resident of Sullivan County for over 60 years and was a former employee of Eastman Chemical Company and the Sullivan County School system.

Patsy had a zest for life, often out and about delivering baked goods to friends and family. She was well known for always having a seat at her table for anyone entering her home. Patsy was a dedicated military wife, mother and sister. Always instilling hard work and patriotism in her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Davis, US Army ; her parents, Horace and Bonnie Bragg-Dolen; brothers, Jim, Robert, David and John Dolen; and sister Mrs. Jerry (Peggy Dolen) Blevins.

She is survived by daughter Gail, and sons Rodney and Steven Davis. Grandchildren Amanda Villlier & wife Jessica, Ashley and Lauren Jones, Cody Davis , great grandchild Malia Phipps, sister JL (Phyllis Dolen) Harrison and special friends Karen Compton, Frances Dorton, Joretia Pendleton and Nell Castle.

Her family thanks the staff at JCMC and Holston Valley Medical for the special care provided and thanks to Trinity Memorial for following her wishes .No services are to be held per Mrs. Davis' request. Graveside will be held at Mountain Home Cemetery.
