Patty Jo Cole

Patty Jo Cole, 57, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019. She is preceded in death by the father of her children, Edward Apgar; her mother and father, Garry and Vivian Smith; and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by two daughters, Misty Pannett (Tullahoma, TN), Amanda Hawkins and husband Jason (Kingsport, TN); son, Edward Michael Apgar Jr. (Kingsport, TN); four sisters, Linda Monroe, Johnnie Clark, Freida Murray, and Norma Allen; brother, Gary Smith Jr. (Sheila); eight grandkids; two great grandkids with third on the way; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Wake Forest Baptist Health and to Food Lion #308 of Gate City, VA for their kindness in the loss of Patty. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25th at McPheeters Bend Missionary Church in Church Hill, TN from 1pm until 2:30pm with a short service set from 2:30pm until 3pm.
