Paula Sue Edwards

Paula Sue Edwards, 62, of Clinchco, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Paula was born in Ohio and will be remembered most for the love she had for her family. Family was truly the center of her life, and there was nothing more important to her than the people she loved. She treasured the time they shared together and took great joy in being a mother and grandmother.

Paula had a kind and welcoming spirit and never seemed to meet a stranger. She had a way of making people feel comfortable and accepted, welcoming others into her life with an open heart. Her warmth and kindness were qualities that those who knew her will remember fondly.

Her faith was an important part of her life. Paula enjoyed reading her Bible and found comfort and strength in her relationship with God. She also had a love for music and enjoyed working with her hands. Needlepoint, sewing, and other crafts were among her favorite pastimes.

Above everything else, Paula loved her family deeply. The love she gave so freely and the memories she created with her children, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Hazel (Boyd) Neeley; sister, Donna Barton; and son-in-law, Matthew Forton.

Those left to cherish Paula's memory include her children, Candilyn Willis and husband Jess, Damian Edwards, Monica Barber and husband Joshua, Daniel Edwards and wife Angela, and Doug Edwards and wife Chesnee; grandchildren, Matthew Forton, Tyler Edwards, Aubrianna Edwards, Noah Barber, Jaxton Willis, Addison Edwards, Johnathan Barber, Mattilyn Edwards, and Lochlan Willis; brothers, Harold Boyd and Rick Neeley; sisters, Patricia Raines and Tammy Street; the father of her children, Roy Edwards; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In accordance with Paula's wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.
