Peggy Pierson

Peggy (McNutt) Pierson, 79, of Duffield, VA passed away July 28, 2022, at Holston Valley Hospital after several years of declining health. Peggy was born May 20, 1943, to Ezra and Lucy (Reese) McNutt. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Danny Aaron Pierson (2014). Peggy is survived by her loving husband of almost 50 years, Edward (Pete) Pierson, a sister Brenda Spears, long-time special friends, Linda Dingus and Geraldine Jones, along with several nieces and nephews. Peggy was a giving, caring, and selfless soul who dearly loved the Lord and attended Sloantown Church when she was able. It was Peggy's request to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sloantown Church, 202 Halo Dr., Duffield, VA on Aug. 7, 2022; 10:30 - 12:00 noon.
