Phynix Michael Mitchell

Phynix Michael Mitchell, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Friday, June 13th, 2025.

Phynix Michael Mitchell was born on June 16, 2024, to Shelby Barden and Michael Mitchell. Phynix became our Guardian Angel just 4 days before his 1st birthday. All Phynix ever knew was love. With his beautiful long dark brown hair and big green eyes, he made it so easy for everyone to fall in love with him. Our little Phynie.

He will be missed tremendously by his mommy, daddy, and big brother, Austin Phillip; his grandparents, Shannon (Julian) Holt, Ben Barden, and Patricia Fessell; his aunts and uncles, Austin (Courtlyn) Barden, Kaitlin Mathis, Sara (Timothy) Patnaude, Cyrus Mitchell, Russell Fessell, Jaycob Barden, Gabriella (Jeremiah) Johnson, Benjamin Alverez, Aspen Holt, Ashland (Tiffany) Holt, Cooper Holt, and Silas Holt; and several cousins.

A memorial service will be at Trinity Memorial Centers on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025. Receiving of friends will be from 2:00-3:00pm with a service to follow at 3:00pm.
