Ralph Jay Holesinger, 76, passed away on November 13, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Born on August 1, 1949, in Morrison, Illinois, Ralph lived a life marked by dedication-to his family, his work, and his country.
After graduating from the Morrison Institute of Drafting & Technology, Ralph proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving as a Personnel Clerk during the Vietnam War from 1970 to 1972.
Ralph gained valuable experience through a variety of hands-on positions before owning and operating EXCEL Dairy Systems. He took pride in designing and building dairy facilities until his retirement in 2015.
Ralph's commitment to helping others extended far beyond his career. He was deeply devoted to his family and always ready to lend a hand or offer guidance. Whether teaching someone a new skill or simply offering support, Ralph's patient and generous spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marty Holesinger; daughter, Andrea (Mike) Barthel; stepson, Matt Mannino; grandsons, Anthony Mannino and Dominic (Myranda) Mannino; sister, Gwen Mowen; brothers, Mike (Jody) Holesinger and Jeff (Vita) Holesinger; and his nieces and nephews.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Mary Holesinger, his brother-in-law, Mike Mowen, and his stepson, Mike Mannino.
A man of quiet strength and enduring kindness, Ralph will be remembered for the way he cared for others-with patience, love, and unwavering support. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
