Ralph Stephen Sheperd

Ralph Stephen Sheperd, 74, of Blountville, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Bristol Regional Medical Center after a long illness. He was born on December 3rd, 1951 in Bluff City and spent his life in this area.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Marcell.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Ann; his son, Scott; and his step-children, Thomas, Leisa, Chad, ,and Christy.

Steve graduated from East High in 1969 and went to ETSU for a few years. He worked at Electrolux for 30 years and made lifelong friends with his coworkers.

He enjoyed fishing and for several years fished on Boone Lake and also traveled to Florida to fish. He also loved to go hunting and camping with his friends.

In the last few years, he looked forward to having lunch with his longtime friend. He could blend with any crowd and people were drawn to him.

He had a great sense of humor and loved to play pranks. He was always ready with a smile or a handshake.

A Celebration of Life will be on April 18, 2026 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.at the Pavilion in Bluff City close to the boat ramp.

Steve loved the Tennessee Volunteers football, basketball, baseball, and softball.

Friends are encouraged to wear orange for his celebration.

Steve will be remembered for being a loving husband, loyal friend, and a great Dad.
