Rita M. Burke

Rita M. Burke, 78, of Elizabethton, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, in the Johnson City Medical Center with her loved ones by her side.

In addition to her parents, Rita is preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Burke and sons, John Moore and Mark Burke.

Left behind are her daughter, Joetta (Frank) Main. To cherish her memory, she leaves her son, Kenneth Kirby; daughter, Wanda (Kirk) Trace.

Rita lived her life as a devout Christian, a loving Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, and an inspirational friend.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Rittertown Baptist Church, 822 Rittertown Road, Hampton, TN 37658, where a celebration of life will be held with her family and friends at a later date.
