Robert Lynn Simpson

Robert Lynn Simpson, 60, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Robert was a great man, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He worked at Bristol Metal for over 20 years before working for Sullivan County. Robert loved working on cars and being around his family. He graduated from North High School. Robert became a father to his sons and helped take care of his granddaughters. He was truly loved and will be missed dearly. Robert was a man who would do anything for anyone. He will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Vangie Simpson; brother, James; and sister, Debbie.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Debbie Simpson; sons, David Crumley, Mikie Crumley, and Timmy Crumley; granddaughters, Kayla Crumley, Sydney Crumley, Abigail Crumley, Raya Gibson, and Samara Crumley; grandson, Cole Johnson; sister, Mary Ann (Dewayne) Mowdy and Kathy (Alfred) Waycaster; and several nieces and nephews.
