Robin Lee Riley of Bluff City was born on November 8,1954, to James and Juanita Riley. She passed away on July 9, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Robin was a proud graduate of Sullivan East High School. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from East Tennessee State University.
She moved to Nashville, Tennessee, in her twenties and had a fruitful career as an editor at the Baptist Sunday School Board (Lifeway) before eventually returning home to Chinquapin to provide support and care for her mother.
Robin worked as a school counselor at Miller Perry Elementary School and Sullivan East High School. She was a proud Patriot.
Robin loved visiting the beach, following and attending University of Tennessee sports, playing games with friends, and supporting her local animal shelter and other charities and ministries.
She exhibited great faith in God as she faced the challenges of cancer because she had put her faith in Jesus Christ as her Savior at a young age. She trusted God's plan for her life to the end.
Robin is survived by her dog and faithful companion, Sugar, and a host of family and friends who loved her and supported her during her battle with cancer.
Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints."
