Roger Eslie Akard, 73, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. He was born August 6th, 1944 in Kingsport, Tennessee the son of the late Fred Akard and Dorthy Ashworth Akard. He is also preceded by his son, Mark Akard. He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Barbara Akard; his daughter, Tammy Amyx; one granddaughter, four great grandchildren and brother, Curtis Akard. Services will be private. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
