Ronald Clifford Duncan

Ronald Clifford Duncan, 82, of Erwin, TN, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. Ron was an avid bluegrass fan and musician. He could tell you all the history of bluegrass. He was a member of the Clinchfield Senior Adult Center, and enjoyed going there every day. He grew up in Kingsport and was a former employee at the MEAD. He later worked for the Miami Herald and the Florida Department of Agriculture.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Clifford Duncan and Hazel (Davis) Duncan; his son, Clifford (Andy) Duncan; his brother, Enoch Duncan; and his sister Lajohn Duncan.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Struzenberg, Pamela Duncan, and Darlene Deaner (and Tommie), and his loving spouse of 22 years Sharon (Sherry) Stratton.
