Ruth Minnie Simcox

Ruth Minnie Simcox, 93, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, November 6th, 2025.

Ruth was born in Butler, TN to to the late George and Mae Fritts. She was of the Christian faith and last attended The Rock Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, LaVern.

She is survived by her sons, Dale Simcox, Richard Simcox; daughters, Judy Carico and husband David, Sue Murphy and husband Jerry, Kathy Riner and husband Bill; grandchildren, Michael Simcox, April Simcox, Steve Carico, Jon Carico, Elizabeth Dougherty, Brianna, Trey, Taila, Angie, Wesley, Vicki, Ryan, Stephanie and Billy; seventeen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 9th, 1:00 pm at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (11706 Roan Creek Rd, Butler, TN) with her nephew, Billy Riner officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.
