Sandra Joan Smith, age 87, of Kingsport, Tennessee, formerly of Goshen Indiana, went home to be with our Lord, June 19, 2026. She was born August 5, 1938, in Ligonier, Indiana to the late John and Edith Guthrie. Sandra worked at Penn Controls/Johnson Controls for 42 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and was a follower of Jesus.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her 6 year old brother "Little Johnny" Guthrie.
She is survived by her daughter Lisa (Floyd) Wengerd, granddaughter Chanel (Andrew) Catron, grandson Dylan (Jaclyn) Wengerd, 2 great grandchildren Wyatt and Whitley Catron.
There will be a private memorial ceremony in Tennessee, following burial at Oak Park Cemetery, Ligonier IN.
