Selena Diane McMurray

A beautiful angel, Selena Kestner McMurray, entered heaven on March 14, 2026 when God called her home. With arms open were her daddy, Earl Kestner, grandparents Everett and Daisy Yates and Clarence and Talitha Kestner, nephews Zach Daugherty, Lucas Henry, niece Megan Thomas and brother-in-law Gary Blevins.

Selena was loving and caring but also strong and stubborn as she fought cancer for 13 years. Cancer may have won the battle on earth but Selena won the Victory as she now has a new body and is with her Savior Jesus Christ.

Loved ones here are her husband, Bobby McMurray, always the love of her life, son Korey McMurray and daughter Keyonna McMurray. Selena cherished her children as a special blessing from God. Other family includes her mother, Alice Yates Kestner; sisters Brenda Kestner Wagner (Eddie) and Nancy Kestner Blevins; brothers Jack Kestner and Ronnie Kestner (Sharen); and many nieces, nephews and family members.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, April 2, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with funeral service at 7:00 at Living Praise Assembly of God Church, 207 New Beason Wells Road. Officiating will be Living Praise Pastor Bob Yates and Central Assembly Pastor Phil Kestner.

Graveside service will be Friday, April 3 at 11:00am at East Lawn in the Garden of the Well.

Pallbearers will be Chase Gill, Joe Miller, Scottie Henry, Chuck Hammonds, Tyler Henry and Shawn Lathrop. Honorary pallbearers are Steven Blevins, Tyler Miller, Caleb Daugherty and Tony Wagner.
