Shirley Irene Shackelford Bowman

Shirley Irene Shackelford Bowman, 66, of Mosheim, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was born on April 25, 1952 in Manila, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Ira and Grace Hitt Shackelford. Shirley lived most of her life in the Bristol area. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Junior Ashby III; and granddaughter, Kristen Hicks. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Paul Bowman; daughters, Kim Easley and husband J.D., and Deborah Thompson; sons, Donny Hicks, Danny Hicks, Stacy Hicks and Eddie Burks; special nephew, William Taylor; grandchildren, Blake Thompson, Dylan Puckett, Billy Easley, Christine Easley, Katlynn Hicks, Megan Hicks and Alexis Hicks; great grandchildren, Paxton Sherman; and several siblings, nieces and nephews. The visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. The service is to follow at 8:00 PM.
