Talmadge Delano Bridges

Talmadge Delano (Tam) Bridges, age 63, of Kingsport, TN passed away at his daughter's home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 after an extended illness. Tam is a lifelong resident of Kingsport. He worked as a nurse at Cornerstone Village in Johnson City, TN. He has been a nurse since 1979, having worked in local hospitals, nursing homes and developmental centers. He was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church. Tam loved art, traveling and spending time with his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge Delano Bridges and Zella Louise Crawford Richardson; stepfather, James Richardson; grandparents, Paul Alexander Bridges and Ruth Quillen Bridges; and maternal grandparents, Sam and Della Crawford. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Karen Bridges; daughter, Audrey Leonard and husband, Donovan, of Kingsport, TN; brother, Darrell Scott Bridges, of Kingsport, TN; and several nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20th, 2019 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at Trinity Memorial Centers.
