Teresa Strickler

Teresa Grace Strickler, 37 passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 9, 2020. She attended Northeast State Community College where she studied Nursing, and Psychology. She worked as a CNA most of her life. Teresa loved her children, conspiracy theories, doing her hair, makeup and accesorizing. She enjoyed meeting new people, and had a vivacious personality. She will be truly missed by many. She was preceded in death by her father James D. Strickler; paternal Grandfather Howard M. Strickler; paternal Grandmother Joyce Strickler; Virginia Teresa Helton maternal Grandmother; William L. Thompson maternal grandfather. Teresa is survived by her 4 children, Seth X. York, Kelsey E. N. Yokley, Aiden D. Yokley, and Azrael J. Dykes; Mother Cathy A. Strickler of Kingsport; Brother Jamie and wife Miranda Strickler of Kingsport; Sister Leana L and husband Josh Burton of Kingsport; nephews Joshua, Lellane, Jaylen, Pierson and Caybren. Nieces Abigail and Kylee; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date at Liberty Church Cemetery in Gray, TN.
