Terry Sutherland

Terry Sutherland, 68, of Kingsport, Tennessee, received his ticket to Heaven on December 3, 2025.

Born and raised in Kingsport, Terry spent his life surrounded by the people and places he loved most. He was known for his humor, and his ability to make everyone around him feel welcome. Terry enjoyed good company, time outdoors, and making memories with his family, and close friends.

Terry was preceded in death by his daughter, Brittany Sutherland; his father, Scott Sutherland; and his brother, Gary Sutherland.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Eva Sutherland; his daughter, Sarah Sutherland; his son, Caleb Sutherland; and his wife, Treasure Sutherland. He is also survived by his devoted friend and the mother of his children, Rachel Livesay, who remained an important and constant presence in his life. Many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and close friends will forever hold his memory close.

Where family and friends will gather to honor a man whose heart was big, whose laughter was unforgettable, and whose love will continue to echo through all who knew him.
