Thomas Haskell Coleman III, 63, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. A lifelong resident of Kingsport, Thomas was known for his love of restoring Mopars, collecting model cars, and cherishing moments with his grandchildren.

A devoted father and a jack of all trades, Thomas excelled in various skills such as pouring concrete, plumbing, and mechanic work. He was a hardworking man who also had a deep passion for Tennessee football.

Thomas was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kristen Coleman-Churchwell; his mother, Trixie Shirlene Carpenter; and two cousins, Nicky and Brett Coleman.

He is survived by his soulmate of 46 years, Debby Akers; two sons, T.C. Coleman and his wife Hannah, and Charlie Coleman and his wife Alicia; three grandchildren, Jonas Churchwell, Thomas Coleman V, and Olivia Coleman; and one great-grandson, Henley Paxton Churchwell. Thomas is also survived by his uncle Eddie Coleman and his wife Lee of Clarksville, TN; his aunt Gean Bennett of Kingsport, TN; several cousins; and his best friend Jeff Gilliam.

Services will be planned at a later time.
