Tim Herbert Snipes

Tim Herbert Snipes, 70, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025.

Tim was known for his love of the outdoors-especially fishing, camping, and spending time riding along the river. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger, making friends wherever he went. A skilled carpenter, Tim worked alongside his father for many years, building not just with his hands, but with heart and pride.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Snipes and Martha (Holloway); his brother, Tony Snipes; and his step-daughter, Drucilla Bennett.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Betty; his step-sons, Wayne Bennett and wife Gail, and Travis Bennett and wife Jessica; as well as several cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 28th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
