In Loving Memory of Tracey Lee Giles
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Tracey Lee Giles, who entered into the presence of her Lord on July 24, 2026 at the age of 54.
Tracey was a devoted mother, beloved family member, faithful friend, and a cherished part of the Duffield, Virginia community. As the owner of a local hair salon, she did far more than cut hair, she built friendships, listened with compassion, and made everyone who sat in her chair feel welcome. Over the years, she touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit.
Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. She loved all her church family and found peace and strength in her relationship with the Lord. She also found great joy in gardening, cooking, and preserving the traditions of Southern life. Whether tending her flowers, preparing a home-cooked meal, or spending time with those she loved, Tracey found beauty in life's simple blessings.
Even in the face of illness, Tracey met each day with remarkable courage and unwavering faith, always putting those around her, first. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, healed, and home with her Savior, family, friends and beloved dogs: Buddy, Jessie, Pebbles, Milo and Alyssa. Her memory will forever bloom in every garden, every shared meal, every act of kindness, every tail wag and every life she touched.
She is survived by her (daughter) Kayla, (daughter-in-law) Aslinn, (Aunt) Harriett and son Michael, (Sister) Barbara, (Mother) Edith, (Father) Kenneth, (Brothers) Ken, Brian and Danny, and (Nieces) Beth, Brianna.
I'll look for you in every flower that blooms,
In every twinkling star and every sunset.
I'll carry your love in everything I do,
Until the day we are brought back together again.
I love you, Mama- always and forever.
Kayla
